Amanda Bossard net worth

Amanda Bossard graduated from high school in 1992 and began her studies in marine science at Alaska Pacific University, Anchorage. Bossard launched her profession as a commercial seafood worker in 1999. She began to work on the F/V Sunset a 65' halibut-schooner that was turned into a salmon tender in the name of Murat Aritan who worked in commercial fishing since 1993. Bossard and Aritan are married now and have joined forces to stake their claim to their business. Both are advocates of conserving renewable and sustainable sources of seafood. Otolith is a direct wholesale seafood distributor founded within Philadelphia in 2007 by a mother of two kids, Bella aged 3, and Andre one year old. Its name is a sweet reference to her deep expertise in fish biology as well as her husband's lengthy involvement in the seafood industry often leaving them separated for five months or more at a time as they work towards the environment and financial goals that are a reflection of their individuality and dedication to the community in which they reside. Since July of 2016, Bossard and her daughter Isabella aged 12 and son Andre age 10 are back in Southeast Alaska annually each summer as deckhands during the summer wild salmon harvest. The two-month period is when Bossard and her daughter Isabella use hooks & lines to hunt for their target salmon. Aritan will then sell their fish to local processors. Amanda Bossard has been an anchor/MMJ on News 12 The Bronx since November of 2015, and for News 12 Brooklyn. She is passionate for reporting on the lives of people and places she is a part of.
